About the Conference:
The study of cognition about events has expanded dramatically over the past 20 years, giving rise to an interdisciplinary research community spanning cognitive psychology, neuroscience, linguistics, philosophy, film studies, computer science, and related fields. Yet researchers working across these disciplines have had relatively few opportunities to come together to share findings, approaches, and theoretical perspectives.
The Event Cognition Conference is an interdisciplinary and international gathering of scholars studying event cognition. The conference will bring together research teams to present ongoing work, share findings and methodological approaches, and collectively identify new directions for advancing the field.

Student Travel Awards:
We are pleased to offer Student Travel Awards to support student participation in the conference. Travel awards will be available tostudents who are presenting authors and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the order submissions are received. The number and amount of awards will be determined based on the number of requests received and available funding.
